One of the primary reasons many people attend our Training Workshops is to overcome their fear of delivering a presentation. To their amazement, almost without exception, these same people can hardly believe the transformation that has occurred by the end of the workshop. They feel more confident and much more able to effectively deliver a presentation, whether to a potential client, to report on a business project back at work or to address the public.
Where are your training courses held?
While many of our Public Training Workshops are conducted on location here in Denver, we also conduct these same workshops across the country. Please visit our Training Cities page, and you can also take a look at our Events page to view currently scheduled workshops.
If you don’t see a workshop currently scheduled in your area, please let us know where you’re located. We will do our best to organize a workshop near you as soon as possible, and we’ll also reward you with a $100 incentive for each additional participant you refer to us in your location.
Which of your courses is best for me?
While all of our courses are designed to improve your overall communications skills, your first step is to identify the specific areas in which you have the greatest need to further develop your talents. Do you offer on-site company training?
Absolutely, Corporate Training is our specialty and we provide on-site company training anywhere in the USA. This is ideal for organizations that have a number of employees to train at the same time.
Do you provide customized Training Workshops?
Yes, we do. Our diverse team is skilled at developing and customizing unique courses to fit your organization's specific business and training needs. We can take any of our existing courses and modify them to include sections you specifically request, click here to learn more.
What is the class size for your Public Training Workshops?
Our open enrollment Training Workshops are typically limited to 8 - 12 attendees to allow for sufficient interaction and adequate time for one on one coaching, especially when videotaping of presentations is a part of the workshop. However, our introductory courses are less intensive, providing more of an educational overview, and are often delivered to much larger groups.
How do I register for one of your Public Training Workshops?
Simply visit our Events page and find a Training Workshop you are interested in attending. Open that particular event and you will be taken to our on-line enrollment form. If you don’t find an upcoming event in your area, please contact us and provide us information on your location and the Training Workshop you are interested in.
How long before the Training Workshop begins can I register?
You can register as soon as the Training Workshop is posted on our Events page, and at any time up to one day prior to the workshop, but we recommend booking as early as poosible, as class size is limited and once full you will have to attend a future workshop.
How will I know when my registration is confirmed?
If registering online, you will receive an email confirmation within one next business day confirming your registration. If you choose to call and register, we can send you a confirmation email immediately after your payment is processed. If you will be requesting an invoice to be sent to either you or your company, a confirmation will be sent to you after the payment has been received.
We can also send a hard copy of your registration confirmation at your request.
What if I register for a workshop, but then can’t attend?
If you register for one of our workshops and are unable to attend, we will be happy to accommodate you in a future workshop. You also have the option of switching the registration to another person, but we ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice if you will be switching your workshop date or if you will be sending someone in your place so that we can make the appropriate changes. If you will not be able to send someone in your place or transfer to a later seminar and would like a refund, we require at least 5 business days notice. If you fail to attend without prior notice, you will be liable for the workshop tuition.
We are happy to take the following forms of payments. All major credit cards, including: Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover or Check and PayPal.
Does Effective Presentations offer a discount if I register more than one person?
Yes! We have several Special Offers available on many of our Training Workshops. If you have a question about any of our promotions, please feel free to give us a call at 800-403-6598.
What should I wear to the workshop?
While there is no formal dress code for our workshops, we ask that at a minimum your attire is business casual. However, we also recommend that if you will typically be giving your presentations in a suit that you wear a suit to the workshop.
Can Effective Presentations help me make Hotel reservations?
We will be happy to help you with your Hotel reservations. We often have a negotiated rate with a hotel either at the seminar location or very nearby, and would be happy to assist you with booking at that location.
How will I know the exact location of my seminar?
The location of your seminar will be sent to you along with your Welcome Packet after confirmation of your registration. This will also include directions to the location from the nearest major airport. As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
