This policy applies to open-enrollment workshops and 1-on-1 coaching sessions booked through Effective Presentations. Private and corporate team workshops follow the terms in your proposal or agreement.
30 or more days before the workshop
You may cancel for a refund minus a $150 administrative fee, or transfer your registration to another workshop at no charge.
8 to 29 days before the workshop
Refunds are not available. Your full payment can be transferred once to another workshop with a $150 rescheduling fee.
7 days or fewer before the workshop
Refunds are not available. Your full payment can be transferred once to another workshop with a $250 rescheduling fee.
Substitutions
You may send a colleague in your place at no charge with at least 48 hours notice.
No-shows
Registrants who do not attend are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
1-on-1 coaching sessions
You may reschedule a 1-on-1 coaching session at no charge with more than 48 hours notice. Rescheduling with 48 hours notice or less includes a $100 rescheduling fee. A session that is missed without notice is forfeited. If we need to reschedule a session, we will offer you a new time at no charge.
If we cancel or reschedule
If we cancel or reschedule a workshop, you may choose a full refund or a transfer at no charge. We are not responsible for travel or lodging costs.
How to make a request

Days are counted in calendar days before the first day of the workshop, and your request takes effect on the date we receive it. If the workshop you transfer to costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the difference is not refunded. A transferred payment must be used within 12 months.
